We are delighted to be able to invite you to the very first TTA Heads Conference. The venue we have chosen for this event is the Barnet Hill Hotel, just outside Guildford. We have provisionally booked 24 rooms for all member schools to attend, although we are able to book in more rooms if needed with enough notice. The cost for this is £150.00 per person to include all refreshments, dinner and overnight accommodation.

The Theme for our first Conference is: Leadership. Learning to Teach and Teaching to Learn.

We are always very keen to ensure that you get the best of the best when it comes to education speakers. This year we are delighted to welcome Guy Claxton.

Prof Guy Claxton is Emeritus Professor at Winchester University and Visiting Professor of Education at King's College London. He has previously taught and researched at Oxford University, Bristol University and the University of London Institute of Education. An internationally renowned cognitive scientist, Guys books include Hare Brain, Tortoise Mind; Wise Up: The Challenge of Lifelong Learning; The Wayward Mind; and Intelligence in the Flesh.
